Mr. Stout
What is it about anal that we like so much? Is it because it’s so wrong yet so right?
Let’s face it, we all joke about it, talk about it, fantasise about it, perhaps dabble a bit — but are we actually experiencing it?
I’m a fan, but I’d be lying if I said it’s for everyone. In my opinion you need four things to make it work:
- Trust
- Lube
- Communication
- A lot more of the three above
It takes time. Time to initiate, time to get comfortable, time to get anywhere. Let’s not rush. The best things in life take time.
How do you even bring it up if it’s been an access-denied zone? Well, there’s always a nice butt massage. Get to know your partner, communicate about what feels good, and let them know they’re doing a good job. Communication is key during these sorts of shenanigans.
If you’re going to try toys, invest in proper ones and quality products. If you’re going to put anything up your bum, at least make sure it’s the best of the best.
Last but not least: hygiene, and lots of it. Keep things clean, and should anything get stained, don’t freak out. It happens.

A single page is hardly enough to get into deep — pun intended — detail. But here’s short and simple.
- Anal isn’t an everyday thing. Don’t surprise your partner by simply heading for the back entrance.
- For me it’s a couple thing. It takes a lot of trust, and the other person needs to be able to read your body language.
- Clean up beforehand. If you’re worrying about mess, you can’t relax.
- Get familiar with your own body before involving anyone else.
- Before the real thing, introduce small plugs and work up to a larger size slowly.
- The receiver is in charge.
- It shouldn’t hurt, and it certainly shouldn’t bleed.
- Go slow. Then slower.
- Start with a massage. It relaxes everything.
- If you use condoms, try latex-free ones — they smell far less.
- Silicone lube all the way. The water-based stuff dries up much too fast.
- Positions: missionary is best for relaxing. Reverse cowgirl is excellent and leaves room to look after yourself at the same time.
- If you don’t enjoy it the first, second or third time, take a break. But if your dirty mind can’t stop thinking about it, chances are you’ll enjoy it one day.
